PENERAPAN DATA MINING DALAM MENENTUKAN PILIHAN JURUSAN BIDANG STUDI SMA MENGGUNAKAN METODE CLUSTERING DENGAN TEKNIK SINGLE LINKAGE

Abstract: Abstract: One of the ways to improve the quality of high school students is to form a favorite class in which the class will be a flagship class compared to other classes. Students will be selected based on 3 variables,… that is the attendance index, semester average score and also the ethics of the students themselves. Data mining is the mining or discovery of new information by searching for a particular pattern or rule of large amounts of data that is expected to overcome the condition, utilizing data obtained from SMA for grouping students using clustering method using single linkage technique. By using clustering method is expected to make it easier for grouping students - students who go to class XI. So the results of this study will also be used by in determining the students-students who will enter the majors class. Keywords: Data Mining, Clustering, Single Lingkage, Selection of Departments.   Abstrak: Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas siswa sekolah menengah adalah dengan membentuk kelas favorit di mana kelas akan menjadi kelas unggulan dibandingkan dengan kelas lain. Siswa akan dipilih berdasarkan 3 variabel, yaitu indeks kehadiran, nilai rata-rata semester dan juga etika siswa itu sendiri. Data mining adalah penambangan atau penemuan informasi baru dengan mencari pola tertentu atau aturan sejumlah besar data yang diharapkan untuk mengatasi kondisi tersebut, memanfaatkan data yang diperoleh dari SMA untuk mengelompokkan siswa menggunakan metode pengelompokan menggunakan teknik hubungan tunggal. Dengan menggunakan metode clustering diharapkan akan mempermudah pengelompokan siswa - siswa yang masuk ke kelas XI. Jadi hasil penelitian ini juga akan digunakan dalam menentukan siswa - siswa yang akan masuk kelas jurusan. Kata kunci: Data Mining, clustering, single lingkage, pemilihan departemen

The Effect of Using Wordwall Application on 11th Graders' Speaking Skill at SMAN 1 Ciruas

Abstract: This research was undertaken to analyze the influence of the Wordwall application on the speaking skills of eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Ciruas. Consequently, Wordwalluantitative methodology and a quasi-experimental&#8230; design involving 82 participants, organized into two equally sized groups, namely the experimental and control groups. Data collection was conducted through speaking assessments administered prior to and following the treatment. The findings showed that students who received the treatment achieved better improvement in speaking skills than those in the control group. The average score achieved by the experimental group increased from 63.90 to 83.12, whereas the control group’s mean score rose from 66.15 to 74.34. The hypothesis test results revealed a significance value below 0.05 (p < 0.001), providing evidence of a statistically significant difference between the groups. The results point to the fact that the Wordwall application was effective in enhancing students’ speaking skills.. Consequently, Wordwall can be considered an effective technology-based learning tool for promoting speaking skill development in English language learning.

The Effect of Algorithmic Performance Appraisal on Employee Trust in Digital and Technology-Based Companies

Abstract: This study examines how employees perceive and trust Algorithmic Performance Appraisal (APA) in digital-native and technology-driven companies. Adopting Organizational Justice Theory, the Trust in Technology Framework, and&#8230; nd Cognitive Appraisal Theory, the research explores both the direct and indirect effects of APA on employee trust, with Perceived Procedural Fairness (PPF) as a mediating variable. The study uses a quantitative, cross-sectional approach, collecting data from 200 employees in technology-based organizations and analyzing the data with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results show that APA significantly enhances both procedural fairness and employee trust, with PPF playing a partial mediating role in this relationship. These findings underscore the importance of transparency, procedural legitimacy, and avenues for employee voice in cultivating trust in algorithmic systems. The study’s theoretical contribution lies in its integration of multiple perspectives on trust and fairness within algorithmic HR management. The practical implication calls for the careful design and implementation of APA systems that employees perceive as fair and trustworthy. Future research should investigate these relationships in longitudinal and multi-contextual settings to deepen the understanding of trust dynamics in evolving AI-mediated work environments.

Implementation of Justice Collaborators’ Rights in Obtaining Reduced Sentences in Murder Cases

Abstract: The rights of justice collaborators (JCs) to obtain sentence reductions in murder cases remain inconsistently applied within Indonesia’s criminal justice system. This research addresses three core issues: the normative legal&#8230; legal basis for JC rights, the consistency of judicial decisions in granting those rights, and the necessity for legal reform. Using a normative juridical approach supported by document analysis and expert interviews, the study examines Law No. 31/2014, SEMA No. 4/2011, and recent judicial decisions, including the high-profile cases of Richard Eliezer and Abdul Khoir. Findings reveal that while legal provisions exist, the absence of detailed indicators, formal mechanisms for status determination, and binding multi-institutional coordination leads to implementation gaps. Judicial discretion remains unchecked, resulting in unequal treatment of justice collaborators with similar contributions. The study concludes that a lex specialis law is urgently needed to standardize definitions, evaluation mechanisms, and inter-agency protection schemes. Recommendations include harmonization of technical norms, incorporation of JC recognition in verdicts, and alignment with UNCAC and UNTOC standards. This would strengthen legal certainty, uphold the principle of nulla poena sine lege, and enhance the effectiveness of the criminal justice system in addressing serious crimes through systemic cooperation.

Implementation of Brain-Based Learning to Reduce Mathematics Anxiety in the Teaching of Fractions at Primary School

Abstract: This research examines the application of the Brain-Based Learning (BBL) model to reduce math anxiety in teaching fractions at the elementary school level. This study used a quantitative approach with a pretest–posttest&#8230; t quasi-experimental control group design involving two fifth-grade classes: one experimental class that received fraction instruction through BBL and one control class that was taught using conventional methods, with 40 students in each group. Mathematics anxiety related to fractions was measured using a modified mathematics anxiety scale for elementary school students, while fraction achievement was evaluated through a valid written test. The results showed that both groups had relatively equivalent initial abilities, supported by normal and homogeneous pretest data and no significant differences in pretest scores. After the intervention, the experimental class showed consistently lower levels of anxiety related to fractions in all dimensions (tests/assessments, classroom learning situations, fraction tasks, and fraction avoidance) and significantly higher post-test scores than the control class, with an average difference of about seven points. The findings show that BBL, which aligns the learning process with the way the brain naturally learns by fostering positive emotions, multisensory experiences, and meaningful social interaction, is effective in improving students' understanding of fractions while simultaneously reducing their math anxiety. This study offers a unique perspective by conducting an experimental trial of BBL as a targeted intervention for math anxiety related to fractions in Indonesian elementary schools and highlighting its potential as a neuroeducation-based pedagogical strategy to foster numeracy and emotional well-being in math learning.

Application Of Neuroplasticity Principles In Primary School Learning : Analysis Of Instruments And Interviews With Teachers At Dharma Putra Primary School

Abstract: This study aims to examine in depth the application of neuroplasticity principles in learning at elementary schools, focusing on the teaching practices of five teachers at SDS Dharma Putra. Neuroplasticity, as a core concept&#8230; cept in neuroscientific learning, describes the brain's ability to form, strengthen, or modify neural networks through experience, repetition, meaningful activities, and students' emotional involvement. Given the characteristics of elementary school students who are at a stage of cognitive development that is highly responsive to learning environment stimulation, a study of the application of neuroplasticity by teachers is important to ensure that the learning process is in line with the brain's working mechanisms.This study used a neuropsychological instrument measuring the dimensions of neuroplasticity to assess four main indicators, namely repetition & practice, dedicated time for review, use of interactive activities, and contextual learning that connects the material to students' real experiences. The data was reinforced through in-depth interviews and thematic analysis of the learning strategies applied by each teacher. The results showed variations in application between teachers. Some teachers showed strong implementation in interactive activities and contextual learning (score of 5), while structured repetition showed lower consistency (score of 3). The interview findings reinforced the instrument results by showing patterns of strategies such as the use of inspirational stories, educational games, quizzes with prizes, conveying the benefits of learning, and scaffolding through easy material as a starting point. This study concludes that the application of neuroplasticity principles is present in teachers' teaching practices, although the level of depth and routine still needs to be strengthened. The theoretical implication confirms that learning that integrates positive emotions, collaborative activities, planned repetition, and contextualization of material has the potential to have a significant impact on the formation of students' neural networks. Practically, this study provides recommendations for strengthening neuroscientific learning-based instructional design as an effort to optimize the learning process of elementary school students.

Legal Safeguards for Justice Collaborators in Murder Cases: The Richard Eliezer Verdict Analysis

Abstract: Justice collaborators, or "crown witnesses," have become essential in modern criminal justice systems, particularly in dismantling organized crime and uncovering complex murder cases. This study explores the legal protections&#8230; tions afforded to justice collaborators in Indonesia through a doctrinal analysis of the Supreme Court Decision No. 1704 K/PID.SUS/2022, commonly known as the Richard Eliezer verdict. The objective is to critically examine the adequacy and application of legal safeguards provided to individuals who cooperate with law enforcement while implicated in serious crimes. Employing normative legal research methods and a statutory and case approach, the paper reveals discrepancies in the implementation of protections for justice collaborators. While the Indonesian Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) offers procedural protections, this analysis identifies significant gaps in enforcement, judicial interpretation, and institutional coordination. The findings underscore a need for stronger legislative frameworks and consistent judicial standards to uphold the rights and safety of justice collaborators. The implications extend to criminal law reform and the balancing of retributive justice with restorative mechanisms. This study contributes to the legal discourse on human rights protections in criminal procedure, particularly concerning vulnerable individuals assisting the justice system under duress or threat.

Application of AHP-SAW Based Decision Support System for Objective and Comprehensive Junior High School Student Selection

Abstract: The admission process in Integrated Islamic Junior High Schools (SMPIT) often faces challenges of subjectivity, inefficiency, and lack of transparency in determining selection results. This can lead to inappropriate student&#8230; ent placement and decreased trust from stakeholders. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) based on a combination of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) to improve objectivity and accountability in student selection. AHP is used to determine the weights of the four main academic criteria-the report card scores of Mathematics, Science, Indonesian, and English-based on consistent expert judgment. Furthermore, the SAW method processes the normalized and weighted scores to produce a final ranking of 100 prospective students. The implementation results show that the AHP-SAW integration is able to produce quantitative, transparent, and data-based rankings, thus minimizing subjectivity in the selection process. It provides a structured and replicable model, supporting fairness and efficiency in student admission. This approach is relevant to be applied in educational institutions that want to align the selection process with Islamic educational values and multi-criteria-based objectivity principles.

Flipped Classroom in Islamic Education: A Systematic Review of Pedagogical Impact at Junior and Senior High School Levels

Abstract: The flipped classroom model has increasingly been implemented as an alternative instructional approach in the digital era, including in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at junior and senior high school levels. This article&#8230; cle aims to systematically examine eight empirical publications from 2021 to 2025 that explore the application of this model within IRE contexts. The review focuses on instructional design, pedagogical outcomes, and implementation challenges. Findings from the analyzed studies suggest that applying the flipped classroom model in IRE can enhance students’ cognitive understanding, foster learning motivation, and develop critical and collaborative thinking skills. However, the effectiveness of this model depends heavily on the quality of digital learning design, the teacher’s readiness to facilitate active learning, and the ability to meaningfully integrate Islamic values into the learning process. In addition, this model faces several challenges, including limitations in technological infrastructure, lack of professional teacher training, and the need for curriculum adaptation. This study highlights the importance of systemic support and digital competency development among educators to ensure that flipped classroom implementation is not merely a technical strategy, but a means of strengthening the spiritual dimension and core values of Islamic education in the digital age.

When Words Become Weapons: Volunteer Communication Tactics to Combat Drugs at The Grassroots

Abstract: This study investigates the communicative practices of youth volunteers involved in Surabaya’s Kelurahan Bersinar anti-drug initiative, highlighting the role of grassroots messaging in shaping public health discourse. Grounded&#8230; Grounded in framing theory, narrative theory, and social capital theory, the research explores how volunteers construct persuasive anti-drug messages through culturally rooted storytelling, emotional framing, and symbolic communication. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through interviews, focus groups, observations, and campaign materials with 18 youth volunteers. The findings reveal that volunteers effectively used personal experiences and local narratives to foster trust and collective identity, transforming individual challenges into shared stories of hope and resistance. Emotional strategies, such as gain-framed and fear-based appeals, were deliberately crafted to trigger empathy and promote behavioral change. Volunteers also capitalized on their deep integration within community networks to enhance message credibility and reach, cultivating both bonding and bridging social capital. The study challenges top-down approaches in health campaigns, illustrating the power of peer-led, culturally resonant communication. It contributes a layered communication model for grassroots health advocacy and underscores the transformative impact of narrative-driven volunteer engagement. The study recommends integrating cultural framing in training programs and exploring digital channels to scale grassroots messaging in future research.
