Abstract:This study explores the impact of self-regulated learning on the academic achievement of underachieving students at SMPN 12 Bekasi City. Self-regulated learning, a critical element in academic success, includes the ability…
ty to plan, monitor, and evaluate one’s learning activities. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method, selecting 49 underachieving students through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using structured questionnaires completed by the students. Statistical analysis identified a significant but negative relationship between self-regulated learning and academic performance, with a correlation coefficient of -0.172. This suggests that students with lower self-regulation tend to perform worse academically. The findings highlight the importance of targeted interventions to improve self-regulated learning skills among underachievers, which could potentially enhance their academic success.
Abstract:Every company must adapt to the digital era, and a crucial strategy for achieving this is preparing for change. Employees who are ready for change tend to operate more effectively. This research aims to determine whether…
self-efficacy predicts readiness for change among digital enterprise employees. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey design. The sample comprised 106 digital enterprise employees. Data were collected using a 25-item Readiness to Change Questionnaire and a 10-item General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) instrument. The validity test utilized content and construct validity, ensuring the instruments accurately measure the intended constructs. The reliability test, using Cronbach's Alpha, ranged from 0.592 to 0.955, indicating varying levels of internal consistency, while the reliability of the measurement model (inner model) ranged from 0.773 to 0.961, suggesting high reliability. The results of the hypothesis testing show that (1) self-efficacy is a significant predictor of readiness for change, with a predictive relevance of 30%; (2) self-efficacy significantly influences the appropriateness dimension, with an effective contribution of 47.1%; (3) self-efficacy is a significant predictor of the management support dimension, with an effective contribution of 46%; (4) self-efficacy significantly predicts the change efficacy dimension, with an effective contribution of 47.9%; (5) however, self-efficacy is not a significant predictor of personal benefits. These findings underscore the importance of self-efficacy in enhancing employees' readiness for change within digital enterprises. Companies should focus on boosting employees' self-efficacy to improve their adaptability and effectiveness in the face of digital transformation. By recognizing and fostering the key dimensions influenced by self-efficacy, organizations can better support their workforce during periods of change. Overall, this research contributes to the understanding of psychological factors that facilitate successful change management in the digital era.

Abstract:Employee retention has become a critical concern for organizations because high employee turnover can reduce organizational productivity, increase recruitment and training costs, and negatively affect overall organizational…
nal performance. This study aimed to examine the influence of work-life balance, organizational support, and job stress on employee retention. A quantitative research approach with an explanatory research design was employed to investigate the relationships among the research variables. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 150 employees selected using an appropriate sampling technique. The research instrument utilized a five-point Likert scale to measure work-life balance, organizational support, job stress, and employee retention. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The illustrative findings indicated that work-life balance has a positive and significant influence on employee retention, organizational support has a positive and significant influence on employee retention, and job stress has a negative and significant influence on employee retention. Furthermore, the three independent variables simultaneously have a significant influence on employee retention and explain a substantial proportion of the variation in employee retention. Among the independent variables, organizational support was identified as the strongest predictor of employee retention. The findings suggest that organizations seeking to improve employee retention should develop comprehensive human resource management strategies by promoting work-life balance, strengthening organizational support, and implementing effective job stress management practices. Such initiatives are expected to enhance employee well-being, increase organizational commitment, reduce turnover intentions, and contribute to long-term organizational sustainability
Abstract:The effectiveness of local economic policy is essential for promoting sustainable regional development and improving community welfare. However, citizens' perceptions of policy effectiveness are influenced not only by policy…
licy outcomes but also by the quality of governance practices implemented by local governments. This study aimed to examine the influence of policy transparency, public participation, bureaucratic responsiveness, service quality, and public trust on the perceived effectiveness of local economic policy. A quantitative research approach with an explanatory research design was employed. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to 200 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), including descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination (R²), t-tests, and F-tests. The results revealed that all measurement instruments were valid and reliable, and the data satisfied the assumptions required for multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicated that policy transparency, public participation, bureaucratic responsiveness, service quality, and public trust each have a positive and significant influence on the perceived effectiveness of local economic policy. Furthermore, the F-test demonstrated that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable. Among the five predictors, public trust was identified as the strongest determinant of perceived policy effectiveness. The study concludes that strengthening good governance practices through transparency, citizen participation, responsive bureaucracy, high-quality public services, and institutional trust can substantially improve public perceptions of local economic policy effectiveness. These findings provide practical implications for local governments in designing and implementing more effective, accountable, and citizen-oriented economic policies
Abstract:This study examines the role of customer value in mediating the relationship between social media marketing and service quality toward the decision to become a BritAma Prioritas customer at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Sukabumi…
Branch. The key issue addressed in this study is the need to understand how digital marketing communication and priority banking service quality can be converted into meaningful value that influences premium customer decisions. This research employed a quantitative explanatory approach involving 386 BritAma Prioritas customers as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that social media marketing and service quality have positive and significant effects on customer value. Social media marketing, service quality, and customer value also positively and significantly influence customer decision. Customer value was found to be the strongest predictor of customer decision and significantly mediated the effects of both social media marketing and service quality. These findings indicate that customer acquisition in priority banking depends not only on promotional activities and service performance, but also on customers’ holistic value evaluation.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the simultaneous and partial effects of job satisfaction, employee loyalty, and work commitment on employee performance at PT Sulsel Citra Indonesia (Perseroda). This research adopts an associative…
tive quantitative approach. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 54 respondents drawn from a population of 114 permanent employees using simple random sampling. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using SPSS version 26. The finding that The F-test result (Fcount = 60.515 > Ftable = 2.196; sig. = 0.000) confirms that all three variables simultaneously exert a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, job satisfaction (t = 3.485; sig. = 0.001) and work commitment (t = 11.685; sig. = 0.000) each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while employee loyalty (t = -3.080; sig. = 0.003) shows a negative and significant effect. The adjusted R² of 0.771 indicates that 77.1% of the variance in employee performance is explained by the three predictors. Work commitment emerged as the dominant predictor of employee performance, followed by job satisfaction. The negative effect of employee loyalty suggests that loyalty alone does not directly translate into higher performance unless it is accompanied by adequate motivation, job satisfaction, and organizational support. These findings are consistent with previous empirical studies conducted in the plantation and service sectors
Abstract:This narrative review explores whether high-potential workers (HiPo) within Indonesian organizations across various sectors consistently exhibit elevated levels of emotional intelligence (EI), and it assesses the relevance…
ce of the Competency Based Model proposed by Boyatzis in the identification and development of HiPos. The review compiles freely accessible scholarly articles from 2024 to 2025, with a focus on research from Indonesia and includes one primary benchmark study on high-potential individuals for comparison, as studies specific to Indonesian HiPo are scarce. Findings reveal that being classified as a HiPo does not necessarily correlate with having high EI. Research directly related to high potential employees indicates that cognitive-intrapersonal skills such as initiative, desire for learning, and the ability to think outside conventional limits are stronger indicators of high potential than emotional-interpersonal skills. Research from various Indonesian sectors, including manufacturing, energy, construction, and public services, suggests that while EI plays a significant role in enhancing employee productivity, work performance, job satisfaction, and effectiveness in management, its influence typically operates through mediating factors instead of serving as a direct predictor. Furthermore, talent management research in Indonesia shows that numerous organizations still depend on performance evaluations and fragmented methods instead of comprehensive competency frameworks. This review concludes that the Competency Based Model is relevant in Indonesian organizations across different sectors; however, it should be viewed as encompassing a range of competencies rather than a single attribute. While EI is valuable, it is not an essential or sufficient criterion for determining high-potential employees.
Abstract:This study examines work culture, job satisfaction (mediator), and leadership (moderator) as predictors of employee performance at PT Bank BJB Syariah Serang Branch, where average KPI achievement stood at only 90.5% in 2024.…
024. A census survey of all 190 employees was analyzed using PLS-SEM via SmartPLS.The results show: (1) work culture is positively associated with employee performance (β = 0.512, p < .001); (2) work culture is positively associated with job satisfaction (β = 0.991, p < .001); (3) job satisfaction is positively associated with employee performance (β = 0.160, p < .001); (4) job satisfaction partially mediates the work culture–performance relationship (β = 0.159, p < .001); and (5) leadership significantly moderates the work culture–performance relationship with a buffering effect (p < .001). This study extends JD-R Theory to faith-based organizations by demonstrating that Islamic values reshape job resources: work culture becomes a dominant predictor of satisfaction, and leadership operates as a buffering moderator through substitution mechanisms. These findings highlight the strategic importance of strengthening Islamic work culture, effective leadership, and job satisfaction as key predictors of employee performance in Islamic banking.
Abstract:The issue of digitalization of education has led to the increased dependency on Information Systems (IS), especially Learning Management Systems (LMS), to provide continuity of learning after the COVID-19 pandemic situation.…
ion. At Edulab, as a large learning service provider in Indonesia, LMS works as a central of learning provision, evaluation, communication, and academic tracking. Despite the strategic role, there are still frequent problems like unreliable access, incomplete evaluation, flawed data, and deteriorated performance when the system is at its peak usage, and it interferes with the learning processes and lowers the level of user confidence. This paper discusses the effect of LMS quality on service delivery, satisfaction among users and effectiveness of the entire platform at the institution. It is being analyzed in terms of the DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model, which is being supplemented by the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework. The mixed method was used, which integrated a survey of 1,081 users of the LMS who were estimated through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and a semi-structured interview with key stakeholders of the management. The results suggest that system, information, and service quality are very powerful predictors of user satisfaction with service quality coming out as the most significant factor in LMS effectiveness in service-oriented institutions of learning.
