Language Learning Through Online Collaborative Learning in SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta and SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta: A Qualitative Case Study

Abstract: Language learning through online collaborative learning is a complex process because it requires thoughtful and pedagogical considerations in its design, implementation, and evaluation. To understand language in online collaborative… ollaborative learning, it is very important to include stakeholders' perspectives on their lived experiences. A qualitative case study was chosen to conduct this research. SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta and SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta were intentionally included in the study. The data were collected from semi-structured interviews of students and teachers and online and offline observations. The collected data were analyzed using the method of constant comparative analysis. The results clarified that several proactive supports (social, pedagogical and technical support) play a crucial role in promoting meaningful collaboration. The presence of the teacher is an important factor that create the collaboration to proceed as desired setting the stage, modeling the desired expectations and guiding the students to achieve the expected results. The assignments and assessments also affect the level of student engagement; therefore, it is recommended to include both formative and summative assessments for both the product and the collaborative process. The findings of this study have implications for the scaffolding and specificity of language learning through online collaboration to support online educators.

Factors Associated with the Occurrence of Diarrhea in Babies Under Five Years Old in the Public Health Center Kebun Kopi Jambi City

Abstract: Diarrhea is an infection of the digestive tract that poses a global health challenge, including in Indonesia. It is characterized by defecation occurring three or more times in children, or more than four times in neonates… es within 24 hours, with stools that are soft or liquid, and sometimes contain blood. The incidence of diarrhea at the Kebun Kopi Health Center is particularly high. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the incidence of diarrhea in the working area of the Kebun Kopi Community Health Center, Jambi City. The research utilized a cross-sectional study design, with a population of 843 people, from which 71 samples were selected through accidental sampling. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires, and analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. The results indicate a significant relationship between latrine ownership (p-value 0.000), hand washing behavior (p-value 0.000), and knowledge (p-value 0.000) with the incidence of diarrhea. The variables associated with the incidence of diarrhea at the Kebun Kopi Health Center in Jambi City include latrine ownership, hand washing behavior, and knowledge. The high incidence of diarrhea is closely linked to inadequate sanitation, poor hand washing practices, and low levels of health knowledge. To significantly reduce the incidence of diarrhea, it is essential to improve access to proper sanitation, promote effective hand washing practices, and enhance public knowledge about essential health practices.

Effectiveness of Room Boy's performance in Optimizing Room Service Quality at Artotel Hotel Semarang

Abstract: This study is intended to analyze the effectiveness of managing room boy works directly on optimizing the quality of room service in Artotel Hotel Semarang. In the hotel industry, quality room service is characterized as… s one of the critical factors that has an impact on the level of guest satisfaction and customer loyalty. The room boys are an integral part of the hotel operations and are responsible for ensuring rooms are clean, tidy, and ready so that guests always feel comfortable and accommodated in a beautiful environment. This study employs the qualitative approach of research types using data collection techniques through direct observation, in-depth interviews with room boys and hotel management as well as guest satisfaction surveys. The findings indicate that the good work performance of the room boy has a great influence on providing high-quality robust service. It was concluded that trained room boys have high motivation and when they are provided with proper tools and materials good room service is possible. In this case, the room boy's performance can be enhanced by hotel management to ensure that they provide frequent training, and work facilities as well as proper and fair assessment and appreciation to the subordinates. It is the finding of this research that room boy work optimization can be done through training, management, and productivity-oriented assessments.

Factors Associated With The Covid-19 Vaccination Participation In The Area Of Noyontaan Primary Healthcare Center Pekalongan City

Abstract: This research article aims to analyze factors associated to participation in the COVID-19 vaccine in the Noyontaan Primary Healthcare Center area, Pekalongan City. This research is a type of analytical research and the design… esign used in this research is case control. This research uses primary data and secondary data. Samples were 46 cases and 46 controls using random sampling technique. The instrument used was a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed with chi-square test. Results showed that knowledge (OR=4.136; 95% Cl=1.692-10.110), perception towards vaccine safety (OR=2.46; 95% Cl=1.055-5.736) were associated to COVID-19 vaccine participation. Meanwhile attitude (OR=1.312; 95% Cl=0.569-3.026), history of comorbid disease (OR=0.54; 95% Cl=0.236-1.237), perception towards AEFI (OR=0.825; 95% Cl=0.35-1.949), perception towards COVID-19 impact (OR=1.192; 95% Cl=0.524-2.709) were not were associated to COVID-19 vaccine participation.

The service quality at the Tihu Village Office, Teluk Ambon District, Ambon City

Abstract: This research focuses on five indicators that influence service quality at the Tihu Village Office in Teluk Ambon District, Ambon: Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. The study aims to analyze… the service quality specifically at the Tihu Village Office within Teluk Ambon Subdistrict, Ambon City. The total sample size for this study was 30 respondents, comprising 5 purposively sampled employees and 25 community respondents selected incidentally. This research adopts a quantitative approach. Data was collected using observation and questionnaires, with frequency tables used for analysis. Based on the analysis of questionnaire data across the five indicators (tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy), the findings indicate that the service quality at the Tihu Village Office in Teluk Ambon Subdistrict is deemed insufficient.

Systematic Literature Review Analysis: Effectiveness of Family Planning Programs in Reducing Maternal and Child Mortality Rates

Abstract: The Family Planning program has long been known as an important intervention in efforts to reduce maternal and child mortality rates. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Family Planning Program in reducing… cing maternal and child mortality rates using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This research uses the SLR method by collecting and analyzing literature from various academic databases. Inclusion criteria included studies evaluating the impact of Family Planning programs on maternal and child mortality rates, published between 2019 and 2024. The literature selection process was carried out in two stages: initial screening and quality assessment using PRISMA guidelines. A total of 15 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed in this study. The findings show that the Family Planning Program is effective in reducing maternal mortality through increasing access to reproductive health services, health education, and use of contraception. Apart from that, the Family Planning program is also effective in reducing child mortality by improving maternal health and preventing unwanted pregnancies. Challenges identified include limited access to health services in remote areas, cultural barriers, and lack of policy support. Family Planning programs have proven effective in reducing maternal and child mortality rates. To increase its effectiveness, it is necessary to increase accessibility, service quality, and adequate policy support. It is hoped that these recommendations will help in improving the implementation of Family Planning programs and maternal and child health policies in the future.

Evaluation Of the Cipp Model Program in Implementing the Toefl Test at Upt Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka

Abstract: This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the TOEFL test at Sembilanbelas November University Kolaka using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The research method used is evaluation research… esearch with a qualitative approach. This research sample involved the Language UPT of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka University as the research subject, with a focus on the implementation of the TOEFL test and related programs. Data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The collected data was analyzed using the data analysis model from Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing stages. The research results show that the implementation of the TOEFL test at the UPT Bahasa Sembilanbelas November Kolaka University has several weaknesses, especially related to inadequate physical facilities, lack of training for instructors, and lack of flexibility in the test implementation schedule. Despite this, the program was successful in improving participants' English language skills, although there is still a need to focus more on developing broader practical and communication skills. This evaluation provides recommendations for improvement and further development in the implementation of the TOEFL test program, with the hope that these steps will improve the quality of test implementation and provide a greater contribution to students' academic and professional progress.

The Implementation of Work Discipline in Improving Employee Performance At Hilimegai South Nias Regency

Abstract: The focus of research in this study is to understand the symptoms of objects thoroughly so that researchers can identify existing problems and formulate problems to be studied. This research focused on the application of… work discipline to improve employee performance at the Hilimegai Sub-district Office, South Nias Regency with a descriptive approach. The purpose of descriptive research is to describe and analyze research data related to phenomena, social activities, and human attitudes in various situations. At the Hilimegai Sub-district Office of South Nias Regency, the implementation of work discipline is quite good because most employees arrive on time although a small number are sometimes late due to long distances from home, but this is not used as an excuse and they still obey the rules. Employees there also always take care of office equipment as a form of discipline. They also show high responsibility by diligently completing work and are willing to work overtime to achieve work targets. However, adherence to the rules still needs to be improved because some employees often neglect their duties. Employees at the Hilimegai Subdistrict Office of South Nias Regency work for 8 hours a day, from 8 am to 4 pm, and always follow the rules that apply in their office.

Implementation of The Use of Portfolio Assessment In Learning Writing Skill at Vocational School

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the implementation of the use of portfolio assessment in learning to write at the vocational school level in Bogor district. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method,… hod, as the research subject for teachers and students. The instruments and data collection techniques used consisted of interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Milles and Huberman model theory which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions. The research results show that Bogor district vocational school teachers have used portfolio assessment in writing learning activities. This was obtained from the results of interviews, observations and documents of teachers who had carried out the portfolio assessment stage in learning to write quite well but not yet optimally. There are still several steps that have not been implemented by teachers in the form of obstacles in providing reviews and reflections on students' assignment results due to time constraints.
