Susilowati , Eni, Rofik, Eka Nur, M. Maghfiroh, Ana, Murdinar, Hardining Estu
Abstract: This study aims to examine the economic behavior of the community around Dhoho Airport, Kediri, which has undergone socio-economic transformation due to strategic infrastructure development. This phenomenon is evident in… Kediri Regency, East Java, especially after the start of the construction of Dhoho Airport, a national strategic project designed to be a lever for regional economic growth. The presence of the airport has changed the face of the surrounding area, which was previously agricultural land and modest settlements, into a bustling and fast-growing economic area. This change has led to a surge in new economic activities, such as the emergence of street vendors, restaurants, parking lots, local transportation businesses, and lodging. Using a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, this study explores the meanings raised by local economic actors in responding to these changes. The findings show that communities show adaptive responses through trade, lodging, and other services, with economic meanings influenced by local values such as blessing, hard work, and kinship. This study concludes that people's economic behavior is not only rational instrumental, but also full of subjective values and meanings, so that regional economic policies need to be designed in an inclusive and contextual manner

Pribadi, Scholastica Wahyu
Abstract: Abstract also written in English containing key issues, objectives, methods and results. Abstract This study examines the role of service creativity in the performing arts ecosystem within the context of cultural tourism,… m, highlighting how service processes contribute to value creation beyond the artistic aspect. Cultural tourism has shifted from an object-based orientation to an experiential one, understanding performing arts not merely as a creative product but as an experience constructed through interactions between service providers and consumers. In this context, service becomes an integral part of the value creation process and audience satisfaction. This research uses a qualitative approach with a single case study method at PT Mata Hati Kitapoleng, a performing arts company in Bali. Data collection was conducted through in-depth semi-structured interviews and non-participatory observation. This research focuses on how service creativity is built through organizational processes, interactions, and practices. The results show that service creativity is formed through a structured yet flexible process, which integrates empathy for consumers, team collaboration, idea exploration, and continuous evaluation. The design thinking approach enables companies to deeply understand consumer needs and translate them into personalized and meaningful experiences. Service in this context is understood as a co-creative process, where consumers play an active role in shaping the final outcome. Furthermore, consumer satisfaction is influenced by various factors, such as trust, production and financial efficiency, innovation capacity, and evaluation and feedback mechanisms. This research confirms that service creativity is a strategic element in enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of performing arts businesses within the cultural tourism ecosystem.

Do High Potential Employees Always Possess Emotional Intelligence? A Narrative Review of the Competency Based Model in Indonesian Multisector Organizations (2024–2025)

Setiawan, Anang
Abstract: This narrative review explores whether high-potential workers (HiPo) within Indonesian organizations across various sectors consistently exhibit elevated levels of emotional intelligence (EI), and it assesses the relevance… ce of the Competency Based Model proposed by Boyatzis in the identification and development of HiPos. The review compiles freely accessible scholarly articles from 2024 to 2025, with a focus on research from Indonesia and includes one primary benchmark study on high-potential individuals for comparison, as studies specific to Indonesian HiPo are scarce. Findings reveal that being classified as a HiPo does not necessarily correlate with having high EI. Research directly related to high potential employees indicates that cognitive-intrapersonal skills such as initiative, desire for learning, and the ability to think outside conventional limits are stronger indicators of high potential than emotional-interpersonal skills. Research from various Indonesian sectors, including manufacturing, energy, construction, and public services, suggests that while EI plays a significant role in enhancing employee productivity, work performance, job satisfaction, and effectiveness in management, its influence typically operates through mediating factors instead of serving as a direct predictor. Furthermore, talent management research in Indonesia shows that numerous organizations still depend on performance evaluations and fragmented methods instead of comprehensive competency frameworks. This review concludes that the Competency Based Model is relevant in Indonesian organizations across different sectors; however, it should be viewed as encompassing a range of competencies rather than a single attribute. While EI is valuable, it is not an essential or sufficient criterion for determining high-potential employees.

Sona in Gunungsitoli Idanoi faces obstacles in production… oduction due to the use of traditional methods, limited equipment, and lack of optimal management. This condition has an impact on delays in meeting demand, increasing production costs, and declining competitiveness. Therefore, a production optimization strategy is needed to improve product capacity, efficiency, and quality. This study aims to analyze the production optimization strategy implemented by UD. Sona, formulate a capacity building strategy, as well as identify obstacles and solutions that can be done. The results of the research are expected to be practically useful for business actors in production management, as well as make a theoretical contribution to the development of production management science in MSMEs. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was obtained through interviews with owners, employees, and customers, supplemented by observation and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through reduction, presentation, and inductive conclusions, so as to be able to describe the real conditions of the business and develop the right optimization strategy. The results of the study show that UD. Sona has made efforts such as setting up production flows and scheduling planning. However, limited machinery, unstable supply of raw materials, and marketing that has not been maximized are still obstacles. Consumers rate the product as good quality, but its availability has not been consistent. Suggested strategies include the implementation of lean production, improvement of inventory management, and the use of production technology

Abstract: This research is motivated by the consequences of the raw material ordering method which is still subjective, namely based on visual estimates without a structured system. This results in The coral experiencing a decrease… e in revenue and losses. The purpose of this study is to find out how the inventory management system at The coral in Fodo Village, Gunungsitoli City, To find out the application of the Just-In-Time method in the potato raw material inventory management system increases the efficiency of producing French fries, To find out how the effectiveness of the Just-In-Time method in reducing raw material waste and ensuring optimal raw material availability for producing French fries at The coral. This study uses a quantitative research approach, namely a research method that emphasizes objective measurements and statistical analysis of numerical data to test the established hypothesis. This study uses a company method approach and a just-in-time method that aims to test the independent and dependent variables between the company method and the just-in-time method. Thus, from the comparison of the two methods above, it can be concluded that purchasing raw potato raw material inventory using the just-in-time method at The coral can minimize raw material inventory according to production needs, to avoid damage to raw material stocks that affect the quality of raw materials such as potatoes that are easily damaged.
