Employees Perception of Work-Life Balance Implementation in a Hybrid Work Environment

Abstract: This study examines employees' perceptions of work-life balance implementation in a hybrid work environment, a model that has gained popularity in the post-COVID-19 era. Hybrid work arrangements offer flexibility by allowing… wing employees to alternate between remote and office-based work, providing opportunities to balance professional and personal responsibilities. However, the blurred boundaries between work and personal life in a hybrid setting can create challenges, such as overworking, interruptions during personal time, and social isolation. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the experiences, challenges, and factors influencing work-life balance in hybrid work environments. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with employees from various sectors. The findings reveal that while hybrid work promotes flexibility and autonomy, it also increases the risk of stress and burnout due to a lack of clear boundaries and insufficient organizational support. Factors such as flexible scheduling, supportive leadership, and access to user-friendly digital tools were identified as enablers of work-life balance. This research highlights the dual impact of hybrid work on work-life balance and emphasizes the need for clear organizational policies, leadership training, and technological support to ensure employee well-being. The findings provide actionable recommendations for organizations to optimize hybrid work practices.

Proposed Business Strategy to Overcome Operational Challenges in Frozen Food Company: Case Study on CV XYZ

Abstract: This study aims to formulate the right business strategy for CV XYZ, an MSME in the frozen food industry, in facing operational challenges such as high employee turnover, dependence on out-of-town suppliers, and logistics… s inefficiencies due to limited cold chain technology. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, internal company reports, literature reviews, and industry publications. The analysis was conducted through an external approach using PESTEL and Porter's Five Forces, as well as internal analysis through VRIO and Value Chain Analysis. The results of the analysis are summarized in a SWOT Analysis and continued with the formulation of a business strategy using Porter's Generic Strategies and TOWS Matrix. The proposed strategy is Cost Leadership with a focus on operational efficiency, investment in cold chain technology, and employee training to increase productivity. This strategy is expected to help CV XYZ increase competitiveness, expand the market, and support sustainable business growth in the frozen food industry.

Mobile Banking Service Quality and Customer Relationship Quality in Indonesian Islamic Banks: The Moderating Effect of Gender

This research investigates how the quality of mobile banking services (such as ease of access, security, and transaction convenience) affects customer relationship quality (including trust, satisfaction, and loyalty). Additionally, it explores whether gender moderates the relationship between mobile banking service quality and customer relationship quality. Data were collected through surveys from customers of Indonesian Islamic banks, and the analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings are expected to provide insights into the design of mobile banking services that are responsive to gender-specific needs and offer recommendations for Islamic banks to strengthen customer relationships through more inclusive digital innovations.

Digital Literacy-Based Entrepreneurial Education Strategies For Individuals With Disabilities in Mojokerto To Support SDGS on Social and Economic Inclusion

Abstract: Individuals with disabilities are often marginalized in accessing entrepreneurship education, limiting their economic opportunities. Digital literacy offers a solution to create entrepreneurial opportunities, aligning with… th technological advancements that promote social and economic inclusion. This study explores the development of digital literacy-based entrepreneurship education strategies for individuals with disabilities in Mojokerto. The innovation of this research lies in its integration of digital literacy with entrepreneurship education, a relatively underexplored approach. The study addresses the urgent need to increase participation of individuals with disabilities in the digital economy, in line with SDGs 8 and 10. Using a qualitative approach, the study conducted in-depth interviews and observations with individuals with disabilities and instructors. Findings show that digital literacy enhances participants' ability to engage in digital markets, understand online marketing, and use technology for business management. Participants reported greater self-confidence and the ability to start their own businesses after completing the program. The study underscores the need for a technology-based entrepreneurship curriculum and digital literacy training, to provide more inclusive and empowering opportunities for individuals with disabilities, supporting SDGs on social and economic inclusion

Semen Indonesia Unit Tonasa has significantly transformed the company’s HR operations, improving efficiency and effectiveness across various HR functions. Located… cated in Makassar, PT. Semen Indonesia Unit Tonasa, a major player in the cement manufacturing industry, faced challenges in managing its large and diverse workforce, including slow recruitment processes, inconsistent performance evaluations, and inefficient data management. To address these challenges, the company adopted cloud-based HR management systems, automated recruitment tools, and performance management software, allowing for real-time monitoring and data-driven decision-making. The results of this digital transformation were notable: recruitment time was reduced by 30%, performance evaluations became more transparent and objective, and employee engagement increased through self-service portals and online learning platforms. The integration of real-time data analytics enabled HR managers to make more informed decisions, aligning HR practices with organizational goals. Despite facing resistance to change and technical challenges related to system integration, the company effectively managed the transition through comprehensive training and ongoing support. This study demonstrates how digital tools can optimize HR processes, enhance employee satisfaction, and improve organizational performance. The success of PT. This abstract discusses the background of the problem regarding organizational behavior factors in the implementation of financial accounting systems. Problems that often arise related to organizational behavior factors in the implementation of financial accounting systems include resistance to change, lack of management support, lack of skills and knowledge, lack of communication and involvement, and an organizational culture that does not support change. Resistance to change can arise from discomfort with changes in usual work routines or uncertainty about the success of the new system. Inadequate management support can hinder employee participation and motivation in adopting the new system. Lack of skills and knowledge needed to operate the new system can hinder effective acceptance and use. Ineffective communication and lack of employee involvement in the implementation process can lead to ambiguity and resistance. An organizational culture that does not support change and innovation can be a serious obstacle to the implementation of financial accounting systems. In addressing organizational behavior factors, it is important to pay attention to employee attitudes and perceptions, management support, effective communication, training and learning, and an organizational culture that supports change. Involving employees in the planning and decision-making stages, providing adequate training, and creating a culture that is open to change can increase the success of implementing a financial accounting system.

Analysis of Entrepreneurship Education and Training On Entrepreneurial Motives

Abstract: This study aims to analyze how entrepreneurship education and training affect entrepreneurial motives in vocational school students in Mojokerto City. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study explores… lores students' experiences, perceptions, and views regarding the learning process and entrepreneurship training they receive. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis from several vocational schools that were the subject of the research. The results of the study show that entrepreneurship education has a significant influence on students' mindset and attitude towards entrepreneurship, especially in building confidence and courage to start a business. Meanwhile, entrepreneurship training provides students with hands-on experience in developing practical skills relevant to the business world. Supporting factors such as teacher involvement, training facilities, and school support play an important role in maximizing the impact of education and training. This study concludes that integrated entrepreneurship education and training can encourage students to have a stronger entrepreneurial motive. As a recommendation, it is necessary to develop a more applicable and local potential-based entrepreneurship learning model to increase its relevance and effectiveness.

This research focuses on analyzing consumer decision strategies to make impulse purchases of products in collaboration with influencers on Shopee Live. SEM-PLS method is used to identify and understand the factors that influence consumer impulse purchasing decisions in the context of products collaborating with influencers. By collecting data through questionnaires from 100 active respondents on the Shopee Live Indonesia platform, this research aims to provide in-depth insight into how influencers influence impulse buying decisions and how live streaming interactions can influence consumer behavior. The findings from this research are expected to provide guidance for e-commerce and marketing industry players to improve promotional strategies and maximize sales potential through live-streaming platforms.

The Role of Soft Skills Training on Employability with Self-Efficacy as an Intervening Variable

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of soft skills training on employability of students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University, with self-efficacy as an intervening… ng variable. Employability is the ability of graduates to enter the world of work, which is not only determined by technical knowledge, but also soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership. This study used the SEM-PLS approach to analyze data obtained from 116 student respondents. The results showed that soft skills training has a positive and significant effect on employability. In addition, self-efficacy also acts as a significant intervening variable, although the direct effect of self-efficacy on employability is lower than the effect of soft skills training. The final conclusion of this study shows that an effective soft skills training program can increase student employability, both directly and through increased self- efficacy.

Economic factors, such as reasonable tax rates and the enforcement of effective penalties, play a… significant role in improving compliance. Additionally, social-psychological aspects, including increased tax awareness, trust in government, and social norms, are critical in influencing taxpayer behavior. Demographic characteristics, such as age, education, and income levels, also affect compliance likelihood. To foster higher tax compliance, governments must adopt a comprehensive strategy that combines economic incentives, social influence, and educational initiatives. Addressing these diverse factors can lead to a more efficient tax system and encourage voluntary compliance among taxpayers.
