Iktikad Tidak Baik Dalam Pendaftaran Merek Varian Dan Perlindungan Hukum Pemilik Merek Terdaftar

Aisyah Oktania Dewi, Dzakiyah Balqis, Devika Tryza Ayodhya, Meita Fadhilah
The trademark registration system in Indonesia adopts the first-to-file principle; however, its application is subject to the requirement that registration be conducted in good faith. Issues may arise when a trademark resembles one that has already been registered or previously applied for and is subsequently registered by another party with improper intentions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the provisions concerning bad faith in the trademark registration process under Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications. This study also examines the forms of legal protection available to registered trademark owners against registrations made in bad faith by referring to Decision Number 1 PK/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2025. Using a normative juridical research method with a statutory and case approach, the study finds that bad faith may constitute a basis for rejecting a trademark registration application as provided under Article 21 paragraph (3), while also serving as a limitation on the application of the first-to-file principle. Legal protection for registered trademark owners is provided preventively through substantive examination and rejection of applications, and repressively through the filing of trademark cancellation lawsuits as regulated under Articles 76 and 77.

PERSUASIVE COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES EMPLOYED BY FEMALE ELECTION SUPERVISORS TO PREVENT VOTE-BUYING IN THE 2024 ELECTIONS: AN ELABORATION LIKELIHOOD MODEL APPROACH

Hati, Karina Permata, Adawiyah, Sa’diyah El
Abstract: This study is motivated by the Election Vulnerability Index (IKP) in South Tangerang, which categorizes money politics as a high-risk indicator, alongside a female registered voter list (DPT) that exceeds the male demographic… aphic by 18,727 individuals—a condition frequently exploited through grassroots channels for covert vote-buying. This research analyzes the application of the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) in the persuasive communication strategies employed by female election supervisors at Bawaslu to prevent vote-buying in the 2024 General Election. This study aims to: describe the forms of persuasive communication utilized by female supervisors; identify the media and communication channels employed; and analyze the effects of this persuasive communication in fostering anti-money politics awareness through the lens of ELM. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method was employed, using purposive sampling for informant selection. The findings indicate that the persuasive communication strategy combines interpersonal communication and informal small-group communication. Female supervisors applied identification techniques by shedding formal agency attributes and adapting their diction to everyday vernacular to diminish psychological distance with the community. The communication media comprised physical flyers creatively transformed into digital graphics and disseminated through digital interpersonal and social channels, specifically community WhatsApp groups (neighborhood units, Family Welfare Empowerment/PKK, and informal social gatherings/arisan). Based on the ELM analysis, this strategy successfully shifted the cognitive processing of community members toward the Central Route. A comfortable, nondistracting communication setting initially facilitated audience receptivity via the peripheral route, while clear substantive information regarding two-way criminal liability (penalizing both givers and receivers) functioned as high-quality arguments that heightened personal relevance and motivation. Reinforced by physical symbolic gestures rejecting vote-buying to lock in commitment, the application of ELM proved effective in fostering an autonomous, stable, enduring, and resistant moral stance against money politics.

The Effect of Credit Interest Rates, Digital Marketing, and Social Influence on Millennial Generation's Interest in Adopting Online Loan Services (Peer to Peer Lending)

Nita Safitri, Zara, Restuningdiah, Nurika, Makaryanawati, Makaryanawati
Abstract: Current technological developments have made financial services, initially confined to conventional systems, now use more financial technology services. Fintech products are usually a system built to carry out specific financial… inancial transaction mechanisms, one of which is online lending (peer-to-peer lending). Some people choose to use peer-to-peer lending without looking at the credit interest rate and without first checking if the company is registered with the OJK or not. As a result, many default risks occur due to mistakes in analyzing peer-to-peer lending loans. As well as several fintech applications still need to be officially registered with the Financial Services Authority, resulting in people experiencing the risk of default with large loan interest. The purpose of this research is to discover the factors that influence the behavioral interest of the millennial generation in adopting online loan services. The research method used is convenient random sampling, with a total sample of 70 respondents. The results of this study show that digital marketing and social influence variables positively affect the millennial generation's interest in adopting online loan services. Meanwhile, loan interest rates have a negative impact because the lower the interest rate is given, the more people will use online loan services. Design And Development Of A Laravel 13 Based E-Commerce Referral System For Seller Monitoring And Accountability

Tegar Puji Bachtiar, Primaadi Airlangga
Abstract: The rapid growth of electronic transactions necessitates systems capable of monitoring seller quality and reputation across marketplace platforms. This study aims to design and implement a seller referral system on a Laravel… avel 13 based e-commerce platform integrated with performance monitoring and seller accountability mechanisms. Built using the Prototype model encompassing communication, planning, modeling, prototyping, and deployment phases the system utilizes MySQL for database management. Registered sellers can distribute unique referral codes to prospective sellers, with the system automatically recording these relationships to enable structured tracking of activities, product counts, store ratings, and access status of referred sellers. Functional testing conducted via a black-box approach demonstrated that the authentication, referral registration, dashboard, monitoring, order management, and store settings modules operated strictly according to specifications, achieving a 100% test case pass rate. The primary contribution of this research lies in shifting the referral paradigm from simple user acquisition to a peer-accountability framework that holds referring sellers responsible for the performance of their recruits, thereby mitigating the presence of unreliable sellers and fostering greater trust in the online shopping environment.

Development Of A Non-Intrusive RFID Elevator Access Control System For Residential Buildings

Parade Parsaulian Purba, Vivin Octowinandi, Prasaja Wikanta, Muhammad Arifin
Abstract: This study developed and evaluated a standalone, non-intrusive radio frequency identification (RFID)-based elevator access control system for a four-story residential building. The system used an Arduino Uno, an MFRC522… RFID reader, and relay interfaces to regulate access to Floors 2, 3, and 4. Authorized card identifiers and floor permissions were stored locally, enabling offline operation without an external database or network connection. The relays interfaced only with the elevator push-button circuits and did not modify the original controller, motor drive, door mechanism, or safety system. Performance was evaluated using 47 registered cards and three unregistered cards, with each card tested 50 times, producing 2,500 authentication trials. Under the tested conditions, all registered cards were correctly authenticated according to their assigned floor permissions, while all unregistered cards were rejected. The system achieved 100% authentication accuracy, 100% correct relay activation, and 100% unauthorized-card rejection. Stable card detection was obtained at distances of up to approximately 1 cm. The first-floor button remained independent of the RFID module to preserve minimum accessibility during module failure. The proposed system provides a practical and low-cost retrofit solution for floor-specific elevator access control in small residential buildings.

Natasya, M.Ridwan Tikollah, Mukhammad Idrus
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the level of taxpayer compliance in paying Motor Vehicle Tax at the Samsat Office of Bantaeng Regency. The research uses a descriptive quantitative and qualitative approach with data collection… techniques through documentation, interviews, and observation. Quantitative analysis is carried out by measuring the formal compliance ratio based on the number of taxpayers who pay on time compared to the number of registered taxpayers, while qualitative analysis is conducted through indicators of awareness, compliance with due dates, compliance with regulations, willingness to pay, and views on Samsat services. The results of the study indicate that the level of taxpayer compliance is relatively high, but it shows a tendency to decrease from year to year. The decrease is influenced by the increasing number of registered vehicles that is not matched by an increase in awareness, the economic factors of the community, and delays in payment due to other priority needs. Service innovations such as mobile services and digital convenience contribute positively, but have not fully encouraged optimal compliance. This study confirms that improving compliance requires continuous education strategies, strengthening public services, and consistent supervision
