There are various public complaints submitted through the mass media as evidence that the implementation of services to the community cannot be carried out optimally, giving rise to a bad image of government officials.This study aims to find out how the quality of service provided by the Semarang City Police SATLANTAS Office to the public when applying for a Driving License (SIM) C is based on the use of theory from Parasuraman et al. (1988) which includes:Physical Evidence (Tengibles), Reliability (Reliability), Responsiveness (Responsivness), Guarantee (Assurance), and Empathy (Empaty). The results of the research that has been carried out indicate that the three dimensions of service quality, namely those related to Physical Evidence (Tengibles), Reliability, Responsiveness, are considered by the community to be not optimal when they are obtaining SIM C at the Semarang City Police SATLANTAS Office. While the other two dimensions, namely Assurance and Empathy, are considered by the community to be optimal. This condition resulted in many violations committed by two-wheeled riders, which reached 75% andaccording to data from the Semarang Traffic Police Traffic Unit in 2020, there were 51,858 motorists who did not carry SIM C when driving on the roads in the city of Semarang.

Based on the health profile of Nagan Raya, it shows that the prevalence of pregnant women experiencing CED in 2020 is 5.2%, in 2021 it is 4.6% and from the 2022 Cot Kuta Health Center Report there are 15 pregnant women experiencing CED. From observations, it was found that some Tuha Peut members did not understand the importance of preventing and dealing with SEZs according to Qanuns or village regulations due to the lack of attention from the keuchik and the head of Tuha Peut so that there was no socialization regarding SEZs to pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of the tuha peut institution according to the Qanun on the prevention and control of KEK in pregnant women through indicators of quality, quantity, time, effectiveness and independence. Abstract: Sub-district is the division of administrative territory in Indonesia under districts or cities. The East Banjarmasin Sub-district Office is one of the sub-districts in the city of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan province. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and the Quality of Public Services at the East Banjarmasin District Office, Banjarmasin City. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the service standards at the East Banjarmasin Sub-District Office have been carried out in accordance with applicable procedures, but many people do not understand the service standards in the office, because the service standards are not installed at the East Banjarmasin Sub-District Office. The quality of public services at the East Banjarmasin Sub-district Office, Banjarmasin City can be said to be good, but there are indicators that have not been running according to community expectations, namely the unfriendliness of service employees in serving service users. So that makes people uncomfortable in taking care of all their needs.

Abstract: This research is motivated by the limited ability of principals in developing teacher abilities, less effective leadership styles and the implementation of academic supervision. This research is a qualitative research with… th case study method. The results of this study indicate that planning for academic supervision has become a principal program and the preparation of this plan has involved all parties in the school. The principal performs academic supervision of all teachers, in which the principal is assisted by the vice principal and senior teachers who are given a letter of assignment. Supervision of academic supervision, the principal checks and signs the teacher's administrative documents and monitors when the teacher conducts teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Follow up on the results of academic supervision by providing input both orally and in writing. Problems, among others, some teachers in the implementation of supervision are not according to a predetermined schedule, and senior teachers are less well versed in IT. Academic supervision solutions include adjusting the schedule in academic supervision in accordance with the teacher's readiness, and mentoring senior teachers who do not understand IT.

Abstract: The optimal development of adolescents depends on the harmony of family communication, especially mothers as caregivers. Disputes between mothers and adolescents often occur and trigger fights and adolescent aggressive behavior… ehavior that stretches family interactions. Communication contributes significantly to the development of teenage behavior; it can be explored based on the mother's experience as a caregiver. This study examines in-depth mothers' experiences in communicating with their adolescent children. Participants in this qualitative study using a phenomenological approach were mothers who lived with their teenage children, a total of 11 participants. The determination of participants was done by applying a purposive sampling technique. The conclusion of the number of samples is based on the saturation of the results of in-depth interviews conducted using video call technology. The Colaizzi method with the Haase adaptation was applied in analyzing the results of in-depth interviews that had been recorded to make it easier when compiling the transcript. Four themes have been generated in this study: The fabric of family love as a communication goal, undeniable dependence on communication, Vulnerability to give each other space to face communication challenges and the need for space and time to explore the importance of good communication. To ensure the trustworthiness of the research results, peer debriefing and member checking are carried out. It is necessary to have a common perception between mothers and adolescents in understanding the importance of Communication and instilling family commitments consistently by paying attention to the youth's freedom of opinion which must be optimally utilized according to the developmental tasks of adolescence.

Management of Learning Strategies in Elementary Schools During the Covid-19 Pandemic to Maintain Education Quality

Abstract: This research was motivated by the unpredictable Covid-19 Pandemic which forced various parties to carry out social distancing and Work from Home (WFH). This condition has an impact on school closures, students learn from… m home and teachers teach from home. The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic as a new era of Distance Learning. Distance Learning with online/offline/hybrid learning modes as an effort to provide educational services to students. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the management of learning strategies in elementary schools during the Covid-19 pandemic to maintain the quality of education. The policy that underlies this research is the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 719/P/2020 concerning Guidelines for Implementing Curriculum in Education Units in Special Conditions. This research is based on George R. Terry's Theory of Management Functions, according to him “There are 4 management functions, which in the management world are known as POAC; Namely: planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach, with a case study type of research method. The research was conducted at Sirnagalih State Elementary School and Al Azhar Syifa Budi Parahyangan Elementary School (ASBP) West Bandung Regency with the research subjects being students. Research results: 1) Schools implement learning strategy management by preparing program plans (materials, strategies, assessments) that are adapted to the Emergency Curriculum and synergize with related parties to carry out learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. 2) Schools have carried out efforts to maintain the quality of education during the Covid-19 pandemic but have not been optimal. This is evidenced by the vast differences between one school and another. On the one hand, there are schools that implement very good distance learning with learning programs and strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic that are well planned by organizing human resources by conducting in-house training, but in other schools distance learning is carried out simply because schools have not establish learning policy guidelines during the Covid-19 pandemic. 3) Implementation of elementary school learning during the Covid-19 pandemic with online/offline/hybrid learning modes. 4) There are several obstacles in primary school learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, including the limitations of studying the Emergency Curriculum with studies on the selection of Core Competencies and Basic Competencies, the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure, the condition of teachers who when carrying out learning still refers to student books as learning resources. 5) There are solutions to overcome obstacles including schools being required to improve teacher competence to be technology literate, designing adaptive curricula and facilitating adequate infrastructure, as well as Hybrid Learning with visiting teachers (Jarunjung). The conclusion of this study is that the management of learning strategies in elementary schools during the Covid-19 pandemic to maintain the quality of education has been attempted by implementing Distance Learning both online/offline/hybrid learning, but the results have not been optimal.

Abstract: It is generally accepted that a teacher's perception of efficacy correlates with the quality of instruction they offer. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics that senior high school (SHS) mathematics… tics teachers in Ghana's Ashanti Region regard as the most influential in influencing their confidence in their abilities to teach their subject. It was requested that 154 senior high school teachers from 20 different senior high schools reply to a questionnaire containing 12 items. According to the results of an independent sample t-test, male teachers have significantly stronger self-efficacy views than their female colleagues. Again, the results of a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test reveal that there was no statistically significant difference between the means of the five groups of teacher teaching experience in terms of teacher efficacy. Teachers should take part in ongoing professional development activities to make sure they are still good at their jobs.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of commitment to mediate the influence of motivation on the performance of waste bank managers in Denpasar City. The research is causal in nature to provide an explanation… n and understanding of the relationship between the motivation variable and the manager's commitment and performance variables. The research population is all managers of Denpasar City waste bank which are still active, totaling 94 managers. The sampling technique was carried out using the saturated sample technique. Questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability were given to 94 respondents. Methods of data collection through: observation, interviews, documentation, and literature, questionnaires. The method of analysis using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The results of the study show that direct motivation significant positive effect on the commitment and performance of managers, and commitment plays a partial role in mediating the influence of motivation on the performance of managers. The research implication is the need for motivation to produce work according to standards. The research suggestion is that motivation needs to be increased again by giving awards to managers to form awareness to be more enthusiastic and motivated and committed to work so that they can improve performance at the Denpasar City Waste Bank.

Effects of Social Media on Students’ Writing: The Case Study of Mount Mary College of Education

Abstract: The study aimed to determine the impact of social media language (also known as net language) on the formal writing skills of Mount Mary College of Education students. This study involved a total of 150 students, 60 of whom… hom were males and 90 of whom were females, who were studying English language and French at the time of the study. The study employed a phenological research design, and a purposive sample technique was used to choose the thirty (30) participants that took part in it. The responses were mark quiz papers and group tasks, and the results were analysed. The study concluded that when people write individually, social media does have an impact on their formal writing. Students who work in groups, on the other hand, are not affected by this. Another finding of the survey was that respondents employ a wide range of social media lingo, including clipping, abbreviation, alphanumeric homophony, vowel deletion, graphone, and other slang terms, among other things. According to the results of the survey, most people type in social media or internet language when they communicate on social media to make it easier for them to communicate.
