poorly structured data. This results in unfair distribution of aid and has the potential to trigger social conflict in the community. Web-based systems also facilitate real-time data management and access. With a web-based system integrated with the K-Means algorithm, the process of identifying eligible community groups for social assistance can be carried out objectively and transparently The development of this application will significantly assist village officials and social institutions in making accurate, data-driven decisions. Therefore, this study aims to develop and implement a web-based information system that can group social assistance recipients in villages using the K-Means Clustering method. Based on the results of research and data analysis conducted in Weekombaka Village in Southwest Sumba, it can be concluded that the number of clusters generated is not significantly different and is even nearly the same.
Abstract:This study aims to explore strategies and techniques to overcome verbal communication barriers in an academic context, particularly between lecturers and students during the completion of final projects at the State Islamic…
mic University of North Sumatra (UIN-SU). Using interactive communication theory and uncertainty reduction theory, this research provides a framework for understanding and addressing these barriers. The research method employed is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, direct observation, and related document studies. Data were analyzed using content analysis to identify patterns and trends in verbal communication. Triangulation, peer debriefing, and external checks were used to ensure data validity. The research results indicate that the communication model implemented by lecturers greatly influences the effectiveness of guidance and the quality of students' final projects. Communication barriers are often caused by misunderstandings in written communication and differences in expectations. Proposed solutions include effective communication training for lecturers, the use of written communication guidelines, and regular group and individual guidance sessions. The integration of communication technology such as e-learning platforms and online collaboration tools is also suggested to enhance the communication process. By understanding the dynamics of verbal communication and overcoming existing barriers, this research aims to improve the quality of academic guidance and student outcomes, as well as prepare them for communication challenges in the professional world. This study is relevant not only in the academic context but also has broad practical implications.
Abstract:This article aims to explore and understand how Generation Z in Medan responds to and interacts with music broadcasted by Radio Prambors, a popular radio station among young people. This study is crucial for identifying…
the dynamics between the musical preferences of the younger generation and the way radio content is presented in the digital era, as well as its implications for broadcasting strategies. Using a qualitative approach, this research involves in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data from Generation Z listeners. Content analysis is used to interpret audience reactions to the music programming, with a source triangulation approach to enhance data validity, combining interviews, social media content analysis, and listener surveys. The research findings reveal three categories of audience reception: hegemony, where listeners fully accept the music choices presented; negotiation, where listeners are satisfied but offer suggestions for a more diverse genre presentation; and opposition, where some less featured music genres cause dissatisfaction among listeners. Furthermore, the interaction between listeners and the radio station shows that Radio Prambors Medan functions not only as a music provider but also as a mediator in a broader communication network that influences the musical tastes and preferences of its listeners. The discussion in this study integrates Manuel Castells' Network Society theory to explain how social and digital networks affect media consumption and interaction among Generation Z, highlighting the crucial role of digital technology adaptation in radio programming strategies. By understanding these dynamics, Radio Prambors Medan can more effectively craft strategies that appeal to its listeners, ultimately maintaining its relevance in the rapidly changing media landscape. The recommendations resulting from this study emphasize the importance of broader digital technology use and more intensive social media interaction to enhance listener engagement and enrich their listening experience.
Abstract:This research aims to describe, analyze, and interpret the process of implementing policies for handling stunting and identifying factors that support and hinder the handling of stunting in Palu City. The research method…
used was descriptive research with a qualitative approach, with sampling using the Purposive Sampling method, with a total of 7 informants. The theory used is the Van Meter and Van Horn Theory. The research results show that regarding measures and objectives, there are already standards in implementing policies, but there are still implementers who do not understand the standards, goals, and targets in implementing policies properly. Human resources at the lower level are still lacking both in terms of quantity and quality, the availability of budget resources is quite good. Characteristics of implementing organizations, there are still implementers who do not have SOPs in implementing policies. The attitude of the implementers and the response of the implementers in implementing the policy are quite good, but the public's understanding of stunting prevention is still lacking. Communication and coordination are still lacking, because there are still activities that are not on target in their implementation. The conditions of the social environment, economic environment, and political environment in the city of Palu do not fully support the success of accelerated integrated stunting prevention policies.

ment towards the Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDIP) in the 2024 General Election using the Naive Bayes algorithm. This method classifies social media content related to PDIP into positive (support) or negative (criticism) categories. The analysis results show 100% precision in identifying positive sentiment, but recall is only 97.11%, indicating that some positive sentiment was missed. For negative sentiment, the precision was 94.33% with a recall of 100%, indicating the ability to recognize negative sentiment but little negative prediction error. This study provides an in-depth understanding of the PDIP's perception in the 2024 General Election, supports better political decision making and provides insight to the PDIP in understanding the public's views.
Abstract:The assessment of student career readiness requires a systematic approach that considers multiple competencies and experiences relevant to workplace demands. This study develops an intelligent decision support system based…
ed on the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to evaluate and map student career readiness. The study uses 20 student samples and five assessment criteria: field-specific competence (C1), internship experience (C2), communication skills (C3), digital literacy (C4), and English language proficiency (C5). Each criterion is assigned a weight based on its relative importance. The TOPSIS method involves decision matrix construction, normalization, weighted normalization, determination of positive and negative ideal solutions, distance calculation, and preference value calculation. The results show that Y11 achieved the highest preference value of 0.8296, followed by Y6 (0.7951), Y19 (0.7274), Y5 (0.7116), and Y2 (0.6999), while Y9 obtained the lowest preference value of 0.3112. Based on the classification results, 1 student (5%) was categorized as Highly Ready, 5 students (25%) as Ready, 12 students (60%) as Moderately Ready, and 2 students (10%) as Not Ready. These findings demonstrate that TOPSIS can effectively rank and classify student career readiness based on multiple assessment criteria. The proposed system can support higher education institutions in identifying students’ readiness levels and developing more objective, targeted, and data-driven career development strategies.
Abstract:Amidst the growing number of tourism villages and intensifying competition among destinations, tourism village managers face the challenge of devising digital marketing strategies that are not merely informative but also…
capable of sustainably building meaning, experiences, and destination competitiveness. This study aims to examine the social media-based digital marketing strategies implemented by a specific attraction within Pujon Kidul Tourism Village identifying supporting and inhibiting factors and to analyze the role of digital narratives in shaping the destination's image and competitiveness. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with tourism village managers (BUMDes), the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), tourism-related MSMEs, village officials, and tourists. Data analysis was conducted thematically, utilizing source triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The study reveals that social media management remains reactive and unplanned, characterized by the absence of content calendars, creative direction, and performance evaluation mechanisms. Furthermore, there is a misalignment between the digital narratives used and the core identity of Cafe Sawah Pujon Kidul as a culinary destination rooted in the rural experience. Nevertheless, there are opportunities to be leveraged, such as hosting TikTok live streams which have proven effective for content collaboration with local SMEs and communities as well as the management's openness to learning and guidance.
Abstract:The convergence between sustainability and halal consumption practices has led to a surge of interest in identifying variables influencing consumer behavior towards purchasing eco-friendly and sustainable halal goods. This…
is paper examines the effects of Islamic ethics, environmental consciousness, and social norms on the purchase intention of eco-friendly and sustainable halal products, considering the moderating role of consumer trust. Four hundred and twelve participants among Muslims participated in the study, and their data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The proposed model had good explanatory power as it was able to explain 68.4% and 59.7% of the variances in green halal purchase intention (R² = 0.684) and consumer trust (R² = 0.597), respectively. Results of this study indicate that Islamic ethics (β = 0.31, p < 0.001), environmental consciousness (β = 0.27, p < 0.001), and social norms (β = 0.22, p < 0.01) positively influenced consumer trust. Moreover, consumer trust significantly and positively impacted green halal purchase intention (β = 0.45, p < 0.001). The mediation analyses reveal that consumer trust partly mediates the effect of Islamic ethical values, environment, and social norms on green halal purchase intention. Out of all the antecedents tested, Islamic ethical values have been found to be the most effective determinant of green halal purchase intention. It can thus be concluded that the purchase intention for green halal products increases significantly if the customers perceive these products as being consistent with Islamic moral standards, sustainable for the environment, and approved by society, especially where the issue of consumer trust is involved. This research has contributed significantly to the extant literature by showing how trust acts as an important bridge between the antecedents of green halal purchase intention and the actual intention to purchase.
Abstract:This study aims to evaluate cost-center managers through the implementation of accountability accounting at PT Mayora Indah Tbk. Accountability accounting is examined as a managerial control mechanism that links cost responsibility,…
ponsibility, budgeting, cost realization, and performance evaluation within an organizational responsibility structure. This study applies a descriptive qualitative method using secondary data obtained from the company’s financial statements and related financial information. The analysis focuses on the extent to which accountability accounting supports the assessment of cost-center managers by identifying controllable costs, comparing budgeted and actual costs, and evaluating cost variances. The findings indicate that accountability accounting plays an important role in strengthening cost control and managerial performance assessment. Although the company demonstrated positive revenue performance, increased operating costs affected the achievement of operating profit and net profit. This condition shows that financial performance cannot be assessed only from revenue growth, but must also consider the effectiveness of cost management. Therefore, accountability accounting provides a more objective basis for evaluating cost-center managers, particularly in monitoring cost efficiency and responsibility-based performance. The novelty of this study lies in positioning accountability accounting not merely as a financial reporting practice, but as a practical evaluation framework for cost-center managerial performance in a publicly listed manufacturing company.
Abstract:This study aims to develop and implement a sustainability reporting framework for Tulungrejo Village based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. Unlike evaluative studies, this research focuses on designing…
a village sustainability report that had not previously been available. The research process involved identifying sustainability issues, engaging stakeholders, and conducting a materiality analysis in accordance with GRI 3 to determine relevant topics. The selected material topics were then mapped into GRI 200 (economic), 300 (environmental), and 400 (social) standards, and compiled using the “with reference” approach. The findings indicate that village sustainability reporting can be implemented adaptively by selecting indicators that align with the village’s characteristics and capacity. This study proposes a GRI-based sustainability reporting framework that can serve as a practical guideline for village governments to enhance transparency and accountability in resource management.
