Abstract:This study aims to analyze the factors that affect rice consumption in South Sulawesi Province using a panel data approach for 2018–2024. The dependent variables used are rice consumption (tons), while the independent variables…
variables include per capita income, household size, rice production, human development index (HDI), and percentage of poor population. The analysis was performed with a panel data regression model using R software, with a series of model specification tests including the Chow test, the Hausman test, and the Lagrange Multiplier (LM) test. The best model obtained is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Partially, the variables of household size and rice production had a significant negative effect on rice consumption, while HDI had a significant positive effect. The variables of per capita income and poverty level have a negative but not significant effect. These results indicate that rice consumption in South Sulawesi is more influenced by social aspects and quality of life than purely economic factors. These findings affirm the importance of food security policies that focus on improving human development, rice distribution efficiency, and strengthening social protection programs to maintain the stability of household food consumption.
Abstract:The current study addresses the impact of entrepreneurial orientation, innovation capability, market orientation, and networking capability on business sustainability in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The contribution…
ion of SMEs to economic development is important; however, sustainability in these entities can be threatened by resource scarcity and rapidly changing environments in markets. The current study adopts a quantitative approach that entails data collection using a structured questionnaire targeting owners and managers in SMEs. The collected data were analyzed through statistical methods to analyze the relationship among study variables. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial orientation, innovation capability, market orientation, and networking capability are positive and influential factors in improving business sustainability in SMEs. Market orientation and innovation capability have higher influences on sustainability in SMEs than other factors since customer-centric approaches and innovation have playing crucial roles in ensuring sustainability in business operations for these entities. This study is an important addition to existing theories since this research adopts an integrated approach within strategic capabilities for improved adaptability and sustainability of SMEs in competitive markets

Abstract:The development of financial technology has encouraged the transformation of the digital payment system in Indonesia, one of which is through the implementation of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) developed…
oped by Bank Indonesia to integrate various QR code-based payment services. This payment system is expected to be able to improve transaction efficiency, speed up the payment process, and expand financial inclusion for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, the adoption rate of digital payment technology in the MSME sector still faces various challenges, both related to technological aspects, user psychological factors, and the influence of the social environment. This study aims to systematically examine the influence of constructs in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT3) on the interest of MSMEs in using the QRIS payment system at Bank Syariah Indonesia with trust and perceived ease of use as mediation variables. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach to identify, select, and analyze relevant scientific articles in the 2020–2025 period. The literature search process produced 2,395 articles from a database of reputable scientific journals, then an elimination process was carried out based on inclusion and exclusion criteria so that 71 articles were obtained that were eligible for further analysis. The study stages were carried out systematically through the process of identification, screening, feasibility assessment, and determination of final articles. The results of the study show that the main constructs in the technology acceptance model such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions have an important influence on interest in using digital payment technology. In addition, additional factors such as trust and perceived ease of use have been proven to act as mediating variables that strengthen the relationship between technology construct and the intention to use QRIS by MSME actors. Trust in system security and ease of use of technology are crucial factors in increasing user confidence in digital payment services, especially in the context of Islamic banking-based financial services. The findings of this study provide a theoretical contribution to the development of a digital payment technology acceptance model based on UTAUT3 and provide practical implications for financial institutions and regulators in increasing the adoption of QRIS among MSME actors. The next research is suggested to develop an empirical model with a quantitative approach to test the relationship between variables more comprehensively in the context of the digital economy in Indonesia.
Abstract:This study examines the effects of financial performance, sales growth, and corporate governance on financial distress, as well as the moderating role of corporate governance in the coal industry in Indonesia. The population…
tion consists of 33 coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), with 21 companies selected using purposive sampling. The study uses secondary data with 105 observations from 2019–2023. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that financial performance and corporate governance significantly affect financial distress, while sales growth has no significant effect. In addition, corporate governance does not moderate the relationship between financial performance and financial distress, nor between sales growth and financial distress. These findings highlight the importance of financial management and governance mechanisms in mitigating financial distress risk in the coal industry.
Abstract:The digital transformation in higher education requires universities to provide not only reliable technology-based academic services but also physical facilities that support the student learning experience. This study aims…
ims to analyze the effect of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) e-Service Quality and campus facilities on institutional image, with student satisfaction as an intervening variable. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. Data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire from 80 active students of STIMI-YAPMI Makassar selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, path analysis, and the Sobel test to examine the mediating role. The results showed that e-Service Quality and physical facilities had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction and institutional image. E-Service Quality had the most dominant influence on student satisfaction. Furthermore, student satisfaction was shown to mediate the effect of e-Service Quality on institutional image, but not the effect of physical facilities on institutional image. These results indicate that e-Service Quality shapes institutional image through student experience and satisfaction, while physical facilities act as a reputational symbol that directly influences image. This research provides theoretical contributions in the development of higher education service management models as well as practical implications for higher education managers in formulating strategies for improving service quality and strengthening the institution's image in a sustainable manner.
Abstract:This study aims to examine the effect of balancing funds and capital expenditure on financial performance. A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed. The population consists of city governments…
ents in East Java Province, with a sample of seven cities selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 21 observations during the 2022–2024 period. Data were collected through documentation and analyzed using the SEM-PLS method. The results show that both balancing funds and capital expenditure do not have a significant effect on financial performance. In terms of direction, balancing funds have a negative relationship, while capital expenditure has a positive relationship, although both are statistically insignificant. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.182) indicates that these variables explain only 18.2% of financial performance, while the remaining 81.8% is influenced by other factors outside the model.
Abstract:This study analyzes the influence of Quality of Work Life (QWL) and Personality (Big Five Personality Traits) on employee Organizational Commitment at UD Fatoni in Central Lombok, filling the empirical gap regarding the…
interaction of external and internal factors in the context of local SMEs prone to high turnover. The main objective is to prove the partial and simultaneous influence of both variables on employee commitment. An explanatory quantitative approach was applied with a population of 40 employees using census techniques, primary data through a valid and reliable 5-point Likert questionnaire (Cronbach's Alpha >0.60), and multiple linear regression analysis via IBM SPSS 25 after the classical assumption test was met. The results showed that QWL had no significant effect partially (sig=0.253>0.05; β=0.149), while Personality had a significant positive effect (sig=0.002<0.05; β=0.604), with a strong simultaneous effect (F=8.852; sig=0.001) explaining 32.4% of the commitment variance. In conclusion, internal factors dominate loyalty in trading SMEs, providing theoretical contributions to organizational behavior models and practical implications for management in personality assessment and optimization of basic QWL for sustainable retention.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the influence of Halal Awareness and Product Knowledge on Purchase Intention and its impact on Brand Loyalty of halal cosmetic products. This research employs a quantitative approach using the…
accidental sampling method, where respondents consist of consumers who have purchased and used halal cosmetic products. A total of 100 respondents participated in this study. Data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with SmartPLS 3 software. The results indicate that Halal Awareness and Product Knowledge have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention. Furthermore, Purchase Intention has a positive and significant effect on Brand Loyalty. Halal Awareness and Product Knowledge also have a positive and significant direct effect on Brand Loyalty. In addition, the indirect effect analysis reveals that Purchase Intention significantly mediates the influence of Halal Awareness and Product Knowledge on Brand Loyalty. These findings highlight the crucial mediating role of Purchase Intention in linking halal awareness and product knowledge with halal cosmetic brand loyalty. Therefore, halal cosmetic manufacturers are encouraged to continuously strengthen the communication of halal values and product education to build strong purchase intention and drive sustainable brand loyalty.
Abstract:This study aims to explore auditors' experiences in digital auditing practices, the meaning of professional ethics, and ethical dilemmas in the context of digital disruption using a phenomenological approach. The study was…
as conducted at a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in Surabaya, with auditors who had experience in technology-based audits as informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using a phenomenological approach supported by NVivo software. The results show that digital auditing practices are still dominated by the use of simple technologies such as Microsoft Excel for data processing, analysis, and audit documentation. Although technology increases efficiency, auditors still do not fully rely on the system and still use professional judgment to maintain the reliability of audit results. Professional ethics is understood as a primary foundation that remains valid, but is reinterpreted in the digital context, particularly related to efficiency pressures and technological risks. Ethical dilemmas arise due to time constraints, incomplete data, and client demands, so auditors tend to prioritize the sufficiency of evidence and prudence in decision-making. Overall, this study concludes that digital disruption does not change the fundamental values of auditors' professional ethics, but rather reconstructs their meaning through work experiences and professional interactions.
