Abstract:This study aims to analyze the effect of Procedural Justice on Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) through Perceived Organizational Support (POS) among hotel employees in Makassar City. The research is motivated by…
y the declining extra-role behaviors of employees, which affect service quality, allegedly driven by perceived procedural injustice and low organizational support. Using a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected through questionnaires from employees of three- to five-star hotels. The results reveal that Procedural Justice has a positive and significant effect on both POS and OCB, directly and indirectly. Moreover, POS functions as both a mediator and a moderator, strengthening the relationship between procedural justice and OCB. The R² and Q² values indicate a high explanatory and predictive relevance, while the Goodness of Fit Index confirms the empirical adequacy of the model. These findings support the Social Exchange Theory (Blau, 1964) and Organizational Support Theory (Eisenberger et al., 1986), asserting that fairness and organizational support foster reciprocal relationships that motivate employees to engage in voluntary, extra-role behaviors. This study contributes theoretically by extending the application of social exchange theory within the hospitality context and provides practical implications for hotel management to enhance procedural justice and organizational support as strategies to improve employees’ organizational citizenship behaviour.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze human resource (HR) management planning, identify obstacles, and formulate efforts to support the digitalization of school management. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with in-depth…
depth interviews, observation, and documentation techniques with the principal, vice principal, teachers, and administrative staff. The results showed that HR planning at SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli was carried out through three main steps: (1) needs analysis and preparation of technology-based teacher formation, (2) competency mapping and identification of information and communication technology (ICT) training needs, and (3) empowerment of teachers and staff through workshops, mentoring, and discussion forums. Obstacles faced included limited digital literacy among teachers and staff, unequal network access, and resistance to changes in technology-based learning methods. Efforts made by the school included providing digital literacy training, optimizing available devices and networks, utilizing offline learning applications, and creating a work culture that is adaptive to innovation. This study concluded that targeted HR planning, infrastructure support, and continuous competency development are important factors in realizing effective digital transformation in schools. These findings are expected to be useful for SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli, other educational institutions, and further researchers in developing digitalization strategies for school management.
Abstract:A mid-sized school district could achieve annual savings of $2.3 million—sufficient to support significant teacher salary increases—by streamlining procurement processes and reducing the number of suppliers from 87 to 12.…
o 12. This practical success reflects the operational rigor of enterprise models, exemplified by Walmart Business, which has been successfully tailored for K-12 education. The study indicates a systemic crisis. Sixty-eight percent of U.S. districts experience a 19% loss of their non-payroll budgets due to procurement inefficiencies, resulting in significant financial losses for classrooms attributed to fragmented purchasing and compliance deficiencies. The study employs a rigorous mixed-methods analysis, incorporating in-depth case studies from 35 districts, a national survey of 300 procurement officers, and comprehensive spend analytics, to illustrate the transformative outcomes associated with enhanced procurement maturity. Consolidated purchasing platforms reduce processing costs by 53% and capture 92% of rebates. Additionally, the new Procurement Simplicity Scorecard predicts 79% efficiency gains, offering leaders a practical diagnostic tool. This study presents two validated innovations: the K-12 Procurement Maturity Model, which delineates a phased progression from fragmentation to strategic excellence, and the Zero-Waste Playbook, which details tactical measures for waste elimination. The evidence indicates that reengineering procurement is not merely an administrative concern; it represents a significant, frequently neglected mechanism for generating billions in savings by 2025. These funds have the potential to enhance arts programs, update outdated STEM laboratories, and recruit and retain high-quality educators. This research offers a definitive framework for districts aiming to transform waste into opportunities for equity.

Abstract:This study aims to determine how social media is utilized Facebookas a digital promotional tool at UD. Tahu Murni in Gunungsitoli City, and to identify factors that hinder the effectiveness of such promotions in increasing…
ng sales. The background of this study is the increasingly rapid development of information technology that encourages micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to utilize digital media as a more efficient promotional strategy and reach a wider market. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of business owners and several consumers. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis methods. The results of the study indicate that the use of Facebook as a promotional medium by UD. Tahu Murni has not been optimally implemented. The promotional content uploaded is still simple, inconsistent, and has not utilized strategic features such as paid advertising (Facebook Ads), customer interaction, and social media analytics. The main inhibiting factors in optimizing promotions through Facebook are the business owner's limited digital knowledge, limited time, and the lack of a workforce focused on digital marketing. This study recommends that business actors improve their understanding and skills in social media management, utilize digital promotional features optimally, and develop attractive and consistent content strategies to reach more consumers.
Abstract:Blockchain technology is touted for democratizing supply chains, but 30–40% of smallholder farmers are excluded from fair market participation due to information gaps and power imbalances. The first complete empirical examination…
examination of blockchain's capacity to empower disadvantaged farmers in Global South agri-food systems. The paper examines 15 large-scale implementations, including Kenyan coffee cooperatives and Indian dairy collectives, using a rigorous mixed-methods methodology. Technical scalability in resource-limited situations, governance structures that promote meaningful multi-stakeholder engagement, and quantifiable inclusion results for small-scale farmers are thoroughly examined. Comparative case study, agent-based adoption modeling, and quasi-experimental effect evaluation by Propensity Score matching reveal that blockchain's potential is not automatic nor inherent in eight nations. Techno-institutional synergy, not technological complexity, improves democracy, the research shows. Hybrid governance systems with farmer-controlled validator nodes and tokenized decision-making rights enhanced smallholder involvement by 58% and premium retention by 78% over corporate-controlled systems. However, technologically sophisticated deployments without institutional expertise frequently increase power concentration and exclusion. The blockchain viability index helps identify optimal deployment conditions for different commodities, empirical evidence challenges the idea that decentralization automatically promotes inclusion, and the inclusion-by-design framework helps policymakers embed equitable principles into decentralized agri-tech from the start. This study shows food system digitization practitioners and scholars that genuine democratization occurs when technology drives institutional transformation.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the production process in increasing the production capacity of red bricks at UD. Alwin, located in Hilinaa Village, Gunungsitoli District. The focus of the study is directed at the production…
stages starting from clay processing, molding, drying, to firing, as well as improvement efforts made to increase production capacity. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the production process implemented by UD. Alwin is still dominated by the use of manual tools and traditional methods. This has an impact on limited production capacity and high dependence on weather conditions, especially in the drying stage. The main obstacles faced are weather factors, limited labor, and minimal modernization of production equipment. However, the synergy between the owner and employees in identifying problems and formulating solutions is a major strength in maintaining business continuity. Overall, improvements in the production process have been proven to have a positive impact on increasing production capacity, although not optimal. Thus, this study concludes that the increase in red brick capacity at UD. Alwin is greatly influenced by the effectiveness of production process management. The recommendations given are the need for innovation in the use of appropriate technology, improving workforce skills, and more efficient work time management to support business desires and competitiveness.
Abstract:This study aims to test and analyze the influence of work compliance and work motivation on the work results of apparatus at the Makassar Regional Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office. The background of this…
s study is based on the importance of improving the performance of the apparatus in providing effective, responsive, and quality public services. Work compliance is seen as the attitude of the apparatus in obeying applicable rules, procedures, discipline, and work standards, while work motivation reflects the motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness of the apparatus to complete tasks. The population in this study is all apparatus in the agency, with a sample of 59 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques with the help of SPSS software version 23.00. The results of the study show that work compliance has a positive and significant effect on the work results of the apparatus. This means that the higher the level of compliance of the apparatus with work rules and procedures, the better the work results achieved. Meanwhile, work encouragement has a positive but insignificant effect on the work results of the apparatus. These findings show that work motivation needs to be supported by a conducive work system, supervision, and organizational environment in order to be able to improve performance optimally. The implication is that agencies need to strengthen the culture of discipline and design a more targeted motivation strategy according to the needs of public service apparatus in a sustainable manner in the region
Abstract:Public procurement plays a pivotal role in driving economic development, particularly in developing nations like Ghana, where government spending accounts for a substantial 70% of the national budget, significantly impacting…
ting GDP. This study critically examines the impact of public procurement reforms, notably the Public Procurement Act of 2003 (Act 663) and its subsequent amendments, on Ghana's economic trajectory. These reforms were strategically implemented to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in public resource management. Analysis of key indicators reveals a mixed landscape of outcomes. While the Act has demonstrably improved procurement processes, reduced instances of corruption by a significant 25%, and streamlined public spending efficiency by 15% over the past decade, persistent challenges remain. These include inadequate institutional capacity, inconsistent enforcement of legal frameworks, and limited stakeholder engagement, collectively hindering the full realization of the reforms' transformative potential. Employing a mixed-methods approach, including secondary data analysis and in-depth interviews with government officials, procurement professionals, and civil society representatives, this study provides critical insights. While procurement reforms have made tangible contributions to economic growth evident in an estimated 10% annual savings in government expenditure significant enhancements are imperative in areas such as capacity building, regulatory enforcement, and fostering robust public-private collaboration. The study concludes with a set of actionable recommendations for stakeholders, including the imperative to strengthen institutional frameworks, promote ethical procurement practices, and cultivate inclusive stakeholder engagement. These measures are crucial for maximizing the impact of procurement reforms and ensuring sustainable economic development in Ghana.
