Abstract: The rapid development of technology in this era of globalization has had a big impact, both positive and negative, on people's lives. The internet, which can be accessed easily, is often used to access various kinds of entertainment… ntertainment content, one of which is online games. Playing online games continuously will cause individuals to become addicted. This is due to low self-control, making it difficult for players to stop the habit of playing online games. Players who feel lonely also tend to experience addiction due to using online games as a means of coping with the feeling of loneliness they experience. This research is quantitative research using incidental sampling techniques on online game players at X Game Center Depok totaling 127 respondents. The measuring instruments used in this research refer to aspects of online game addiction according to Chen and Chang (2008), aspects of self-control according to Averill (2012), and aspects of loneliness according to Russell in the UCLA Loneliness Scale (1996). The three measuring instruments have been tested and the results are valid and reliable. The results of statistical analysis prove that there is a significant influence in a negative direction on self-control towards online game addiction. Furthermore, the results of statistical analysis also show that there is a significant influence in a positive direction on loneliness on online game addiction. For future researchers, it is recommended to use other variables such as self-esteem, environmental control and social relationships. Future researchers are also advised to conduct research in various different game centers so as to obtain more precise and extensive comparisons and results.

Mansour Omar Altwergi, Fouad
Abstract: This study aims to determine the reasons behind customers' reluctance to adopt electronic payments and how these factors relate to their values. To identify the characteristics of electronic payments that customers find… objectionable and to look into the relationships between those characteristics and people's values by looking at the effects of those characteristics; to offer advice to financial institutions and service providers on how to develop appropriate strategic plans to promote electronic payments in Libya. To achieve these research objectives, the means-end chain (MEC) theory is applied in combination with hard laddering interviews as a data collection method. Subsequently, the data is analyzed using the Association Pattern Technique (APT) to produce the Hierarchical Value Map (HVM). The HVM identifies five main obstacles that keep customers from using electronic payments: a lack of awareness about the benefits and security of electronic payments, a lack of laws protecting users of electronic payments, the unpopularity of electronic payments, the cost of transactions, and the lack of e-payment discounts. The Value Map also revealed that the most important value, safety, can explain the bulk of customers' reluctance to accept electronic payments. The respondents also expressed significant concerns about the economy and the convenience of e-payments. The report offers suggestions for banks and service providers to increase e-payment usage based on these findings.

It was hypothesized that there was a relationship between effective… ve interpersonal communication and barriers in adjustment of the new students; and there was a negative correlation between effective interpersonal communication and barriers in adjustment. The first added hypothesis was that there were differences barriers in adjustment between students group based on lesson selection no used non cognitive test and used non cognitive test. The second added hypothesized that there were differences of barriers in adjustment based on sex. The subjects were 64 students on several faculties in The Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta; 31 males & 33 females; 34 no used non cognitive tests and 30 used non cognitive tests, academic period 2003/2004 S-1 regular. Two scales were applied to measure barriers in adjustment and effective interpersonal communication. The results of the study showed that there were negative correlations between effective interpersonal communication and barriers in adjustment (F - 1.040, p -; 0.002; p < 0.01). In the student’s group-based test selection, there were no differences barriers in adjustment between students group no used non cognitive test and students group used non cognitive test (F = 1.040, p = 0.322; p < 0.01). In the students group based on sex, there was no difference of barriers in adjustment between male and female (F = 1.040. p = 0.907; p < 0.01).

Nurhikmah, Siti, Diah Suslianingrum, Elfa, Dewita, Sisri
Abstract: This research is a quantitative research using a one group pretest-posttest design experimental method with the aim of the research to determine the effectiveness of mindfulness therapy in reducing levels of depression in… n female prisoners. Subject selection was carried out by purposive sampling. The subjects involved were five female prisoners who had the BDI-II category of moderate depression with a minimum sentence of less than one year in prison. The level of depression was measured using the BDI-II (Beck Depression Inventory) scale by Beck (1976). The BDI-II scale was given before and after being given mindfulness therapy and the data collected was analyzed using a paired sample t-test and effectiveness test. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference in the level of depression, where the average level of depression decreased after receiving the intervention, the level of depression in subjects who previously had an average score of 25.4 decreased to 17.6. This shows that the intervention provided in the form of mindfulness therapy can reduce the level of depression in the subject. To test whether the results of the intervention were significant or not, the researcher also carried out a significance test using paired sample t-test analysis, but first the researcher carried out a normality test on the research data. Based on the results of the Difference Test analysis, a significance value of 0.022 (p<0.05) was obtained, meaning that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, so it could be concluded that there was a decrease in the level of depression in research subjects after being given intervention in the form of mindfulness therapy.
