The Role of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship Education, with Government Support, in Advancing MSME Efforts Towards Achieving the SDGs

Abstract: In the era of competitive globalization, MSMEs face pressure to improve their performance to compete in the domestic and international markets. In Indonesia, MSMEs are expected to be the backbone of the economy towards a… Golden Indonesia 2045 and the achievement of the SDGs. However, the main challenges lie in the limited insight of business administration, entrepreneurship education that has not been integrated with practice, and lack of access to government support. This research examines the role of business administration, entrepreneurship education, and government support in encouraging MSMEs in Pasuruan to upgrade. The research uses a qualitative method with a thematic analysis approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations. Data triangulation was carried out to ensure the validity of the findings. The results show that most MSME actors do not understand the importance of business administration, such as the ownership of NIB and NPWP, which are the basic requirements for accessing government programs and market expansion. Although there is a gap between the theory obtained and the practice implementation in the field, entrepreneurship education shows a fairly good level. The results of this study can be a guide for entrepreneurship education providers to design applicable practice-based programs, as well as for the government in facilitating business administration and entrepreneurial assistance. This synergy is expected to encourage Pasuruan MSMEs to upgrade, contribute to Sustainable Development (SDGs), and support the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Proposed Business Strategy to Overcome Operational Challenges in Frozen Food Company: Case Study on CV XYZ

Abstract: This study aims to formulate the right business strategy for CV XYZ, an MSME in the frozen food industry, in facing operational challenges such as high employee turnover, dependence on out-of-town suppliers, and logistics… s inefficiencies due to limited cold chain technology. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, internal company reports, literature reviews, and industry publications. The analysis was conducted through an external approach using PESTEL and Porter's Five Forces, as well as internal analysis through VRIO and Value Chain Analysis. The results of the analysis are summarized in a SWOT Analysis and continued with the formulation of a business strategy using Porter's Generic Strategies and TOWS Matrix. The proposed strategy is Cost Leadership with a focus on operational efficiency, investment in cold chain technology, and employee training to increase productivity. This strategy is expected to help CV XYZ increase competitiveness, expand the market, and support sustainable business growth in the frozen food industry.

Education In Poverty Reduction: A Systematic Literature Review

Abstract: Human resource development through education is frequently linked to the worldwide problem of poverty reduction. Education is essential in building human resources to improve skills and knowledge to get good job opportunities.… ities. This article analyses the existing literature on how education can reduce poverty. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) statement was used as the review methodology, and a systematic review of the Google Scholar database was carried out using Publish or Perish, which identified 99 relevant studies. In this review, education is usually evaluated from two aspects: the quality and the education level. The results of this review confirm the general conclusion that education is an essential tool for poverty reduction. Through education, people acquire knowledge and skills that can be used to get better jobs and ultimately reduce poverty. Some of the recommendations are more development research to improve the quality of education, and education policies must focus on long-term investments to overcome poverty.

The data processing and analysis methods used were descriptive statistics, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression testing and hypothesis testing. The data were tested using SPSS software version 25. The findings of this study indicate that the independent variables in this study, namely accountability, professionalism, and experience, simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Audit Quality.

Mobile Banking Service Quality and Customer Relationship Quality in Indonesian Islamic Banks: The Moderating Effect of Gender

This research investigates how the quality of mobile banking services (such as ease of access, security, and transaction convenience) affects customer relationship quality (including trust, satisfaction, and loyalty). Additionally, it explores whether gender moderates the relationship between mobile banking service quality and customer relationship quality. Data were collected through surveys from customers of Indonesian Islamic banks, and the analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings are expected to provide insights into the design of mobile banking services that are responsive to gender-specific needs and offer recommendations for Islamic banks to strengthen customer relationships through more inclusive digital innovations.

Integration of Philosophical Values in Human Relations Management: Systematic Literature Review

Abstract: Human relations management is an important aspect of an organization's success, especially in creating a harmonious, productive, and ethical work environment. This study aims to explore the integration of philosophical values… alues in human relations management through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method was used in this study to analyze and synthesize various previous studies related to human relations management. The SLR process involves identifying, screening, and evaluating studies from a variety of sources, including international indexed journals, to gain an in-depth understanding of key trends and issues in the implementation of humanitarian relations management. Of the 150 articles found, 52 articles met the inclusion criteria for further analysis. By analyzing the literature from various academic databases, this study identifies key concepts in philosophy, such as humanism, deontological ethics, utilitarianism, and existentialism, that are relevant to support the management of interpersonal relationships in organizations. The results of the study show that the application of philosophical values can improve the quality of relationships between individuals through more ethical decision-making, value-oriented leadership, and strengthening mutual respect in work interactions. In addition, this study reveals a significant gap in the literature related to the practical implementation of philosophy in the context of modern management, especially in certain sectors. These findings make a theoretical contribution in expanding the understanding of the role of philosophy in human relations management as well as offering recommendations for further research and practical applications in organizational environments.

Does Competence and Work Discipline Explanatory Factors For Educational Staff?

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work competence and discipline… on the performance of educational staff at the Main Office of Makassar State University. Data collection using a questionnaire to 132 respondents. At the 0.05 significance level, the results of multiple linear regression analysis prove that competence and work discipline have an effect on the performance of educational staff. These results indicate that competence and work discipline are explanatory factors that can encourage educational staff to achieve the expected performance. The results of this study are expected to provide an understanding of human behavior in organizations, so that it can be useful for self-development and the ability of educational staff to achieve the expected performance.  

The Role of Digitalization In Improving Human Resources Management Performance at PT. Semen Indonesia Unit Tonasa in Makassar City

Semen Indonesia Unit Tonasa, a major player in the cement manufacturing industry, faced challenges in managing its large and diverse workforce, including slow recruitment processes, inconsistent performance evaluations, and inefficient data management. To address these challenges, the company adopted cloud-based HR management systems, automated recruitment tools, and performance management software, allowing for real-time monitoring and data-driven decision-making. The results of this digital transformation were notable: recruitment time was reduced by 30%, performance evaluations became more transparent and objective, and employee engagement increased through self-service portals and online learning platforms. The integration of real-time data analytics enabled HR managers to make more informed decisions, aligning HR practices with organizational goals. Despite facing resistance to change and technical challenges related to system integration, the company effectively managed the transition through comprehensive training and ongoing support. This study demonstrates how digital tools can optimize HR processes, enhance employee satisfaction, and improve organizational performance. The success of PT. Microfinance Institutions Performance and Economic Growth In Cambodia: an Advanced Econometric Analysis

Abstract: This study examines the impact of Microfinance Institutions' (MFIs) performance on economic growth in Cambodia, using annual panel data from 62 MFIs for the period 2017–2023. Employing advanced econometric techniques, the… the findings reveal nuanced relationships between key indicators of MFI performance and GDP growth. Notably, Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) show an unexpected positive relationship with GDP growth, highlighting the Cambodian microfinance sector's resilience in mitigating adverse effects through sustained economic activity. Inflation is also positively associated with GDP growth, suggesting that moderate inflation can drive economic expansion, though careful management is necessary to avoid destabilization. Conversely, the study finds a negative relationship between the number of MFIs and GDP growth, indicating potential inefficiencies from sector oversaturation. Lastly, a positive link between Return on Equity (ROE) and GDP growth underscores the importance of profitability in ensuring financial stability and economic development. The findings emphasize the need for policy measures to manage sector growth, maintain moderate inflation, and enhance MFI profitability for sustainable economic progress in Cambodia.   Keywords: Microfinance Institutions (MFIs); Cambodia; Economic Growth.    

The Influence of Electronic Service Quality and Trust in Increasing Loyalty Through User Satisfaction

Testing the indirect effect of service quality and user trust on the loyalty of SIAPkerja employment service users through user satisfaction. This study involved 150 users of the Ministry of Manpower's SIAPkerja employment service. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 3. The results showed that service quality and user trust directly have a positive and significant effect on SIAPkerja employment service user satisfaction; service quality directly has a positive and significant effect on user loyalty.  User trust directly has a positive but insignificant effect on user loyalty.  User satisfaction directly has a positive and significant effect on user loyalty. Service quality and user trust indirectly have a positive and significant influence on the loyalty of SIAPkerja employment service users through user satisfaction. In other words, user satisfaction mediates the effect of service quality and user trust on the loyalty of SIAPkerja employment service users.
